The Cool Ghouls are from San Francisco Cali-for-nia. We. Love. This. Band. Their self-titled debut and it's fantastic follow-up "A Swirling Fire Burning Through The Rye" both had us daydreaming all over the place, not to mention writing love letters to Empty Cellar Records. Critics throw some well-deserved associations to The Byrds and The Beatles their way, as they have an unbelievable sense of harmony and groove bridging the gap between 1966 and 2015 with ease. The band is excited to get these two songs out into the world, and it's not surprising to see why, there are two very nice slices of their musical world represented here. "Creature That I Am" has you working up a freaky garage-rock sweat until all hours, where "See You Around" flips the script/shows you the softer side of a melancholic Sunday morning. Cool Ghouls can do no wrong!
